Plan International Finland is seeking an experienced technical expert organisation to provide advisory services and capacity-building support to implement the climate change strategies of the BRAVE – Breaking Barriers, Building Equality programme. BRAVE works across Ethiopia, Mozambique, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Laos, and Myanmar to empower adolescents and youth aged 10–24 to make informed decisions about their bodies and futures. Given the gendered impacts of climate change, the programme integrates climate resilience strategies with sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). The BRAVE climate resilience strategies include climate education, continuity of SRH services during climate disruptions, strengthening community resilience, and supporting youth-led advocacy that positions SRHR within climate and disaster risk reduction policies.
Applicants should be national NGOs, preferably based in Uganda, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, or Mozambique, with a strong track record in climate change programming and gender-transformative approaches, and experience working on adolescents’ SRHR.
Duration: 80-90 consultancy days (around 30–50 days per year).
Starting: July 2026
Ending: June 2028
Deadline for proposals: 15 May 2026
